Hi, my name is Howie. I used to get frustrated because I wanted to hire a contractor to gut and remodel my home, but I never had enough time or money. Eventually, I realised that I was looking at it from the wrong angle. Just because I couldn't have all of the work done that I wanted didn't mean that I shouldn't have anything done. Just as people take 'staycations' or day trips instead of long holidays, I could have a little bit of work done on my home. If you are in the same situation, this blog is designed to give you ideas.
